Tam sim no, muaj ntau hom kev hu ua touch screens. Feem ntau, lub vijtsam kov yog tsim los ntawm cov khoom sib txawv ntawm cov kua siv lead ua kua ntawm cov khoom siv. Lub pob tshab kov lub vijtsam txuas nrog rau pem hauv ntej ntawm cov khoom siv. Hom kev tshuaj ntsuam no hu ua "nqaim" touch screen. Feem ntau, qhov nruab nrab input yog ntiv tes.
Tsis tas li ntawd, muaj cov khoom siv nkag tau siv cov cwj mem tshwj xeeb lossis cov ntxaij vab tshaus kov nrog kov-tswj lub luag haujlwm hauv cov kua siv lead ua kua tsis ntev los no nws tus kheej. Cov no yog hu ua "broad" touch screens.
Cov ntxaij vab tshaus txhais tau hais tias hnyav tau muab faib ua plaub hom: resistive, capacitive, optical, thiab ultrasonic. Kev nkag siab dav kov cov ntxaij vab tshaus suav nrog hom electromagnetic induction thiab Hauv Cell hom. Cov txheej txheem no tau muab faib rau hauv daim duab 2-1. Vim tias tsis muaj lub vijtsam kov yog omnipotent, muaj ntau lub vijtsam kov. Piv txwv li, hom resistive yog tib txoj kev zoo tshaj plaws uas tsis xaiv nkag mus rau hauv xov xwm, tab sis nws muaj kev ua haujlwm tsis zoo thiab tsis haum rau cov kev xav tau ntawm cov pej xeem. Txawm hais tias capacitive lossis optical kov cov ntxaij vab tshaus tseem kim thiab muaj kev txwv rau kev siv, lawv tsim nyog rau cov khoom xws li hluav taws xob kiosks uas yuav tsum tau ua kom ntev ntev.
cais cov ntxaij vab tshaus los ntawm cov kev xav sib txawv, uas tuaj yeem muab faib ua "kev tshawb nrhiav hluav taws xob" thiab "txoj kev tsis yog hluav taws xob". Lub vijtsam kov siv cov khoom siv hluav taws xob tshawb pom feem ntau yog tiv taus thiab capacitive. Nyob rau hauv cov ntaub ntawv no, nws yog ib qhov tsim nyog yuav tau siv ib tug pob tshab conductive zaj duab xis xws li ITO (Indium Tin Oxide) los yog ATO (Antimony Tin Oxide), uas yuav txo tau cov transmittance. Tab sis nws qhov tsis zoo yog tias txawm tias txoj kev kho qhov muag no zoo dua hauv cov yam ntxwv kho qhov muag, feem ntau nws yuav muaj qhov tsis zoo ntawm kev ua haujlwm tsis raug.
